This series of globes was made from an artistic viewpoint. Faced with an industrial production of globes and maps of the earth that give us a fixed representation of our planet, it is still possible to create a new manner of looking at the world. An analysis of the symbols, the physical realities, the mental models by which we are governed ought to allow us to introduce a distance between ourselves and an object that has become too familiar : maintaining the precision of cartography, but widening our outlook and bringing us fresh ideas.
